The Seed from the Tree

Joint-winner of the Singapore Literature Prize Merit Award 1998 under the title Soul Search, The Seed from the Tree was published in 1999 by Raffles Editions, then an imprint of Singapore National Printers. Due to a merger Raffles Editions came to an end and all rights were returned to the authors, making the stories on this site available for publication.

Rosemary was a Highly Commended Asia-Pacific Winner in the 1999 Commonwealth Short Story Competition for the story "Singapore 1950", based on an excerpt from her unpublished novel China Dreams.

She is a widely published non-fiction writer in Singapore and her work has appeared in publications in the UK, Ireland and Hong Kong.
